Your wedding car touches some of the most photographed moments of the day — the arrival, the first look, the send-off. It is also one of the easiest suppliers to leave too late. Our wedding car hire service books up first for the dates everyone wants, so here is how early to secure yours.
The short answer: 9–12 months ahead
For a Saturday between May and September — by far the busiest slots — aim to book nine to twelve months in advance. Midweek and off-peak dates need less notice, but the earlier you book, the better your choice of vehicle and timings.
Why peak dates go so quickly
A luxury fleet has a finite number of cars, and each car does one wedding per slot. When dozens of couples want the same summer Saturday, availability disappears fast — often months before the date. You can see the range of vehicles on our fleet page.
We turn away more enquiries for peak summer Saturdays than for anything else — and almost always because the date was left too late.
Booking later than ideal? Don’t panic
If your date is close, still get in touch. Midweek dates, off-peak months and the occasional change of plan all free up availability, and as a travel-to-you service we cover weddings across the UK — including Luton, Birmingham, London and Oxford.

Approximate timings are fine to book on. We build flexibility into every wedding and confirm the detail closer to the day.
